The Multi-Story Orchestra
Founded by composer Kate Whitley and conductor Christopher Stark, The Multi-Story Orchestra mission is to present classical music in an accessible and unconventional environment, in order to offer wide audiences inspirational experiences of live orchestral music at the highest level.
Multiple Summer performances in Peckham Car Park, where they are the resident orchestra of Bold Tendencies, sell out to audiences of over 700 people and have attracted wide critical acclaim.
In 2015 they performed as part of Aldeburgh Festival and in 2016 and 2017 they are featured in the BBC Proms at... series. They were the winners of the 2016 RPS Music Awards for Audiences and Engagement.
